Abisrors are Moving to Argentina!

Today was a big day for the Abisror family! We officially announced to our home church that we will be moving to Argentina to pursue full-time missions with Reaching and Teaching International Ministries. We have enjoyed the last seven years in Mount Vernon, WA while Eric has served as youth pastor at EBC.  Needless to say, it was certainly a bittersweet day.

About five years ago, we took a trip to visit some workers in Germany and North Africa. And Eric took subsequent trips to Guatemala and Ecuador. It was during these trips, that God opened our eyes to the great need of sharing the gospel to the unreached and the huge need for sound pastoral training in places such as South America.

Our projected move date is January 2018. Eric will be finishing up at EBC around August 15th.  We will be moving to Cordoba, Argentina for language school.  And after that, the plan is to move long-term to Salta, Argentina to work with a church plant that will serve as a hub for pastoral training and discipleship in northern Argentina. Please refer to our vision page for more about our long term goals.

It is our desire that this blog will serve three main purposes. 1) To keep a clear line of communication with those who wish to follow our ministry 2) To share about the great need of pastoral training and evangelism in other parts of the world. 3) To encourage those following Christ in all areas of their lives!

Thank you for being a part of our story!  We look forward to sharing with you more about how God is working in the coming months!
